One of the most important things you can do is to survey your market regularly, to make sure you provide what they want, not just what you think they need.

Benefits

You can create any number of "quick surveys" on your Web site, where you simply ask one open-ended question of your choice - for example:

  • Market research: What is the biggest challenge you have with time management, your people, achieving your goals, (insert your topic area here)?
  • Feedback when people are leaving the site: What could we do to improve this Web site?
  • Getting testimonials: What was the single most important thing you learned from today's session?
  • Planning for a book: What would you most like to know about (the subject of your book)?
  • Reader surveys: In your e-mail newsletter, survey your readers at the end of each issue to find out their opinions. This allows you to focus more on the "hot" topics in the future, and discard those that don't rate highly.

What's in our system?

  • Survey results are e-mailed to you as they are done, so that you can monitor the results as they are coming in.
  • Download the survey results to Excel at any time, so that you can perform detailed analysis.

How does the system work?

You add a new quick survey, including some introductory text, a choice of additional fields (such as name, e-mail address and country), and a thank-you page.

Then you link to the survey from an e-mail message or a Web page.

You can also conduct more detailed surveys.
